August 2020We will be organizing the halfmarathon in Ljubljana which will count as open national championship for Slovenian competitors, but we are also expecting strong international participation. Due to active COVID-19 measures we had to wait for long time before we could officially announce the race which will take place on 23rd Avgust 2020. 1. September 2019Today in Pamplona, Spain the marathon for the European Champion has taken place. Our member Ana Odlazek (RK Ljubljana) was very active at start of the race where she managed to test the peloton with few attacks and just few laps before finish she actually was in escape group. There was little cooperation among escapees, and some skaters in peloton used the catch to launch a counter attack which on the end resulted in a winning move. Ana finished in the pack and ended as 14th best in Europe. (more...)
2. July 2018Today it was a 500m sprinter day on the World Championship and Nejc Mavsar was our only contender. He finished 5th in Heat 7 and with 45,217 s was out of qualifying times and places for further competition. 2nd place (which still qualified for semi-finals) was less than 0.3 second away and was taken by Indian Dhanush Babu. 1. July 2018Today first track races took place. We only had one competitor Miha Remic on 10km Elimination, but both Miha and Nejc Mavsar tested the track on 1000m sprint. Miha finished 8th in his 1000m sprint heat, while Nejc Mavsar finished 6th, but his time was not fast enough to qualify. Only winners of the group and best 8 times qualified for semi-finals. Miha finished 10km elimination 24th in his heat, just 6 places before qualifying. (more...)
